Loading Crew Transfer Vessels

Stevedoring and Agency on special job

Directly from sea to deck

Last week, Jutlandia Terminal loaded wind turbine components and CTV (Crew Transfer Vessels) aboard the 190-meter long vessel Tian Jian.

In addition to carrying out the loadings, Jutlandia was nominated by COSCO Shipping to act as agent, while in Esbjerg.

The two Crew Transfer Vessels from World Marine Offshore were loaded directly from sea to deck, which makes this particular operation different than usual.
Very special conditions are necessary for such an operation, where both weather and water levels play an important role.

After loading, COSCO Shipping sailed the boats to Kaohsiung in Taiwan, where they will transport crew back and forth between installations.

Below, watch a video and pictures of how CTV are loaded onto deck directly from the sea.

..the way things are taken care of can often depict how an organization is run. When it comes to medical situations, it is very important that the proper steps are taken and the advice from Tommy & Mette yesterday on how we should proceed was clear and very professionally put across.
I would like to thank you and your team for your assistance on this matter and please pass on mine and the Willem’s sincere thanks for doing what you do.

Thanks, Bruce
